Texture,
Texture is another type of photography technique which isn't as popular as the others but when used correctly adds a lot of effect and detail into a picture. Texture is one type of object which is the same pattern or similar throughout and gives the viewer the idea and perception of touching and feeling the object. This gives the effect of the object been as close to real as possible.
Texture Example 1
In this example of Texture, a wooded bench has been photographed at very close range, and by following the rules of texture the detail in the wooden bench has been brought out to be made clear to the viewer of the image, and gives the viewer the thought and feeling of the object which has been captured.

Texture Example 2
In this second example of Texture the photographer has captured the small outer buds of a sunflower to bring out the soft texture and colours of the sunflower to the viewer. This is a good example of Texture photography because when viewed, the viewer gets the illusion and feeling of the soft buds in powerful mental image.
