By using the Leading Lines technique you can add sophistication and intriguing concepts to your photographs.
Leading Lines Example 1
In this example of Leading Lines, the edge of a pavement has been used as the leading line. This is a good example of leading lines photography because the edge of the pavement which is running directly down the centre of the image, is directing the viewers eyes down the line towards the image that the photographer wants to be symbolized or mainly looked at. It does this by making a direct line down the edge of the pavement to the centre of the student which when first looked at is the line that the viewer's eye travels down.

Leading Lines Example 3
Finally, in this example of Leading Lines, the white painted boundary lines of a soccer pitch has been used as the leading line in this photograph. This is once again a very good example of Leading Lines due to the fact that it is instantly drawing the viewer into the depths of the picture by making the viewers eyes automatically follow the line until it finishes at the base of the soccer goals. Which without the leading line may not have been recognised or seen in the image. Also the fact that there's no other distractions in the photograph and the line has been made very pronounced and visible for the viewer to follow.
