Framing,
Framing is one of many popular techniques used by photographers. Framing is the photo graphical technique were photographers choose a certain object or point in which they surround by either a man made or natural object or source to add effect and emphasis on what is inside the 'frame'. The aim of this technique is to draw more attention to the image or object in the frame and to attach the viewers eyes to that object. Whilst using this technique you can distort or put the object you are using as a frame out of focus so that it doesn't draw attention in any way shape or form. Below are a few examples of framing taking by students in the school grounds of St Johns Grammar School.
Framing Example One
In this example Framing, the fork of tree has been used as the frame to emphasis on a small white shed in the middle of a frame. This is a good example of framing because a natural object has been used to frame the shed which adds for effect and emphasis on the shed.

Framing Example Two
In this example of Framing, the rear bars of a soccer goal has been used as the frame, this is a good example of framing because the man -made structure, the soccer goals, is making the viewer concentrate and focus mainly on what is inside the bars. Which in this case is the school buildings and kids in the background. Without this frame this picture wouldn't have much of a focal point for the viewer of the image to look at but by simply adding this easy photography concept it has created structure and depth within the photograph.
